Description

This irresistible French Onion Dip is made with creamy Greek yogurt for a lighter, protein-packed twist on the classic. It’s rich, flavorful, and so easy to make perfect for holidays, game day spreads, or anytime snacking. Even the kids can’t get enough!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaiseoptional
  • ¼ cup Dried Onion Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, dried onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of salt. Stir until everything is smooth and well blended.
  • Cover and let it sit for at least 5 minutes—this gives the dried onions time to soften and release their flavor.
  • Chill before serving, and don’t forget to top it off with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or chopped chives.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Mayonnaise (Optional): Some skip it altogether—and that’s totally fine! I like adding just a little for that extra silky texture. If you’d rather not use it, simply replace it with the same amount of Greek yogurt.
  • Garlic Lovers, Rejoice: Want a bit more punch? Add a touch of granulated garlic or even a small clove of fresh garlic, finely minced.
  • How to Serve: This Greek yogurt French onion dip is a total crowd-pleaser with everything—try it with crackers, veggie sticks, ridged potato chips, pita chips, French bread, or crostini.
  • Homemade Greek Yogurt: Want to take things to the next level? Making your own yogurt from scratch adds a whole new depth of flavor and texture.
