Ingredients

Dough Base
  • 2 cups self-rising flour Serves as the base for the dough.
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Acts as a binding agent and adds creaminess and protein.
Toppings (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used for greasing the pan.
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce A flavorful base for your toppings.
  • 1 cup pizza cheese blend Provides melty, gooey goodness.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni Optional topping for a savory kick.
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter Optional drizzle to enhance flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Optional finishing touch for added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  2. Grease a 12-inch round pizza pan with olive oil.
  3. In a large bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a ball forms.
  4. If the dough feels too sticky, sprinkle in additional flour until manageable.
  5. Transfer the dough to the greased pizza pan and spread it out uniformly.
  6. Create a ridge around the perimeter of the dough to help contain toppings.
Baking
  1. Bake the crust for 12 minutes until it starts to turn golden.
  2. After 12 minutes, lower the oven temperature to 450°F.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the crust, and top with cheese and any desired toppings.
  4. If desired, brush the crust with garlic butter.
  5. Return the pizza to the oven for another 6 to 8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

To achieve the perfect crust, preheat the oven well, avoid overworking the dough, and use a balanced thickness when spreading the dough in the pan. For a crispier crust, add toppings promptly after baking.
