Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the oats until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
Baking
- Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Cooling
- Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. To ripen bananas quickly, place them in a paper bag at room temperature.
