4th of July Firecracker Pops

Ingredients
  

Gelatin Layers
  • 1 package Red gelatin Provides a vibrant color and fruity flavor.
  • 1 package White gelatin Optionally sugar-free for calorie-conscious.
  • 1 package Blue gelatin Can substitute with blue raspberry or similar flavor.
Additional Ingredients
  • 2 cups Water Filtered water works best for taste.
  • 1 cup Sugar Consider using a natural sweetener.
  • 8 pieces Popsicle sticks Reusable silicone molds can be an eco-friendly choice.

Preparation
  1. Prepare red gelatin by dissolving it in boiling water as per package instructions, then fill popsicle molds about one-third full. Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm.
  2. Prepare white gelatin using the same method and carefully pour it over the frozen red layer, filling another third of the molds. Return to the freezer for another 1-2 hours until firm.
  3. Prepare blue gelatin and pour it over the white layer, filling the molds to the top. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for a final 4 hours or until completely solid.
  4. Once set, gently remove the pops from the molds by running warm water over the outside and enjoy your festive 4th of July Firecracker Pops!

Notes

Make extra pops for unexpected guests. Use silicone molds for easy removal. Wrap pops in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
