Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the onion from the top down to create the blooming effect.
  3. In a bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip the onion into the buttermilk, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  5. Coat the buttermilk-dipped onion in the flour mixture, pressing gently.
  6. Spray the onion with cooking spray, followed by the breadcrumbs for a crunchy exterior.
  7. Place the onion carefully in the air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
