  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt Sea salt or table salt are suitable alternatives.
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs Gluten-free panko can be used for a gluten-free version.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer at 400°F for about 10 minutes.
  2. Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts and cut them into 1-inch chunks for even cooking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and kosher salt.
  4. In a shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs in preparation for coating.
Coating and Cooking
  1. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to help the coating adhere.
  2. Carefully place the coated chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Spray the nuggets with cooking oil and air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Remove the nuggets from the basket using tongs and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider double-coating your nuggets. These can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or frozen for up to 2 months.
