- In a shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs in preparation for coating.
Coating and Cooking
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then into the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to help the coating adhere.
- Carefully place the coated chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray the nuggets with cooking oil and air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the nuggets from the basket using tongs and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider double-coating your nuggets. These can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or frozen for up to 2 months.
