Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken wings Fresh or frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Avocado oil is a good alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic works in a pinch.
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika Use smoked paprika for a different flavor profile.
  • to taste salt and pepper Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper are recommended.
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce Or your favorite hot sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Maple syrup is a great substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Soy sauce can be a good alternative.

Method

Cooking the Wings
  1. Place the frozen wings in the basket of your air fryer. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes to defrost.
  2. Carefully remove the wings from the air fryer and transfer them into a mixing bowl. Drain any excess liquid that may have accumulated.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the wings, and add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until all wings are well coated.
  4. Return the seasoned wings to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 10–12 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F and are golden brown.
  5. While the wings are cooking, prepare the Honey Buffalo Sauce by combining buffalo sauce, honey, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
  6. Once cooked, toss the wings in the Honey Buffalo Sauce before serving.

Notes

For a touch of extra crispiness, consider increasing the cook time by 1-2 minutes during the final stage. Serve with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese. Allow wings to cool before storing leftovers in an airtight container.
