Preparation
- Whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, honey, garlic powder, minced ginger, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Pour the marinade into a sealable bag and add the salmon pieces. Shake gently to coat the salmon well.
- Release any excess air from the bag, reseal, and place it in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
- Do not marinate longer than 30 minutes, as it might get too salty.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F and spray the cooking basket with olive oil spray.
- Place the marinated salmon into the air fryer basket, ensuring enough space between each piece.
- Air fry the salmon for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until you reach your desired doneness.
Assembly
- In four bowls, divide the cooked rice and toppings.
- Top each bowl with air-fried salmon bites, and garnish with black sesame seeds and Sriracha mayo if desired.
Notes
Serve immediately for freshness, but leftovers can be easily reheated. Experiment with toppings to suit your taste.
