Preparation
- Rinse and dry the mushrooms before carefully removing the stems.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, cracked pepper, and salt to taste until fully mixed.
- Spoon or pipe the stuffing into each mushroom cap, approximately 2 teaspoons per mushroom.
Cooking
- Lightly spray the basket of the air fryer with oil and arrange the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer without touching.
- Mist the tops with oil before air frying at 350°F for about 5-7 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- If necessary, work in batches if your air fryer cannot hold all mushrooms.
- Once cooked, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Avoid overstuffing the mushrooms to prevent spillage during cooking. Preheat the air fryer for an even bake. Ensuring a light mist of oil is essential for crispiness.
