Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: melted butter, eggs, chopped apples, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Serving
- Enjoy the bread warm, drizzled with icing or topped with a pat of butter.
Notes
To keep the bread moist, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. Apple Cinnamon Bread can be frozen for up to three months.
