Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
- Once melted, remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Cooking
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Baileys Irish Cream gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Serving
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Use the parchment paper to lift the brownies from the pan and onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, cut into squares and serve with optional garnishes.
Notes
For extra fudginess, do not overbake the brownies; the center should be slightly gooey. Experiment with different types of chocolate chips for added variety. Store leftover brownies in airtight containers to keep them fresh. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
