Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place 6 bone-in chicken thighs in a single layer in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Generously season them with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, honey, Dijon mustard, paprika, and minced garlic cloves until combined.
  4. Pour the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees and is beautifully browned on top.
  2. Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.

Notes

For crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; it’s the best way to ensure perfectly cooked chicken.
