Preparation

- Place 6 bone-in chicken thighs in a single layer in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Generously season them with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, honey, Dijon mustard, paprika, and minced garlic cloves until combined.
- Pour the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated.
Cooking
- Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees and is beautifully browned on top.
- Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Notes
For crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; it’s the best way to ensure perfectly cooked chicken.
