Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Pat the chicken wings dry using a paper towel. Ensure they are dry for crispy skin. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking the Wings
- Place wings on a wired baking sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Making the Glaze
- In a food processor or blender, mix together mango puree, habanero peppers, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and paprika until fully combined.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the mixture and stir in honey. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Whisk in butter until melted, then remove from heat.
Finishing Touches
- After the wings are cooked, remove them and increase oven temperature to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add the wings to the bowl with the sauce and toss to coat.
- Return wings to the wired baking sheet and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the sauce has caramelized.
Notes
Serve wings hot with fresh veggies or a yogurt dip. Leftover wings can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days, or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
