Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients on the countertop.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Cooking
  1. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients; stir gently until combined.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set (around 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
