  • 1/2 cup Nuts (Almonds or Walnuts) Provide crunch and healthy fats; any nut or seed can substitute.
  • 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup Gives sweetness to your granola; adjust depending on preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil For binding and tropical flavor; use olive oil for a different taste profile.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor; omit if you’re watching calories.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Adds warmth; pumpkin spice can be used as a twist.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Elevates flavor; sea salt or Himalayan pink salt works beautifully.
For the Bowl
  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt Creamy base packed with protein; opt for non-dairy yogurt if lactose intolerant.
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries For topping; frozen berries can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Optional superfood for added nutrition; consider flaxseeds if you don’t have chia.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves for garnishing Omit if not a fan.

Method

Granola Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the granola mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring it is in an even layer.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely; it will become crunchy as it cools.
Bowl Assembly
  1. In a serving bowl, add 1 cup of Greek yogurt and drizzle with honey if desired.
  2. Top the yogurt with a generous handful of the homemade granola and fresh blueberries.
  3. Sprinkle chia seeds and garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

Serve the bowl layered for an attractive presentation. Store yogurt and granola separately to maintain crunch.
