Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep; or canned chicken.
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce Choose a sauce that offers the right heat level.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened; for a lighter option, use Greek yogurt.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Swap with pepper jack for an extra kick.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing Use plant-based dressing if dairy-free.
Serving Options
  • Tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies For dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  2. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Overmixing can make the dip too dense. Mix until just combined. Taste as you go to avoid blandness. Make it ahead and keep it warm in the slow cooker. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavor profiles.
