Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a pizza stone inside, if using.
- Combine the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and 1 tablespoon of blue cheese dressing in a bowl to marinate.
- Spread the pizza dough onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan and poke holes in it with a fork.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the prepared dough.
- Sprinkle most of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Cooking
- Distribute the marinated chicken, sliced red onions, and banana peppers on top of the cheese.
- Add the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Drizzle additional blue cheese dressing and buffalo sauce over the pizza.
- Bake the pizza for 13 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
- Mix melted butter, grated Parmesan, and garlic powder; brush over the crust.
- Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes for a golden brown crust.
Serving
- Garnish with chopped green onions, red pepper flakes, and parsley before serving.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality buffalo sauce and let chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes. Allow the pizza to rest for a few minutes after baking for easier slicing.
