  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce Use your favorite brand for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup butter Unsalted preferred for better control of saltiness.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar Apple cider vinegar adds a nice tang.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust based on your spice preference.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until crispy, flipping halfway through.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in hot sauce, vinegar, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Toss your baked wings in the Buffalo sauce mixture until they’re all nicely coated.
Serving
  1. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

Notes

Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. They can also be frozen; just reheat in a hot oven to crisp them back to life. For a twist, try using different hot sauces or turn them into Buffalo Cauliflower for a vegetarian option.
