Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise This is the creamy base; Greek yogurt can be a lighter substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup Adds a touch of sweetness; feel free to use organic or no-sugar-added ketchup for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon mustard A splash of tanginess; Dijon mustard works well for an upscale twist.
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish Introduces texture and sweetness; you can use chopped pickles if relish isn’t available.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Imparts robust flavor; fresh minced garlic is a great alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Offers depth; finely chopped onions are acceptable.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Adds a subtle smokiness; smoked paprika can enhance the sauce even more.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential for flavor; adjust to your preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix well until smooth. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  3. Serve on burgers or as a dipping sauce.

Notes

Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors. Store in an airtight container; it keeps well in the fridge for up to a week. Not ideal for freezing due to mayonnaise separating when thawed.
