Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the fresh mozzarella and tomatoes into thick slices, aiming for an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  2. Arrange the mozzarella and tomatoes on a platter, alternating them to create a beautiful presentation.
  3. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers of mozzarella and tomato.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh ingredients.

Notes

Chill the mozzarella and tomatoes for the best flavor. Avoid using overripe tomatoes and always taste as you go to achieve the perfect balance.
