Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Soft Dough (store-bought or homemade) Essential for the rollup
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Feel free to swap with cheddar or gouda
  • 4 tbsp Butter Can substitute with olive oil for a lighter option
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh garlic elevates the taste; pre-minced garlic can also work
  • 1 tsp Salt Sea salt or kosher salt work best
  • 2 tbsp Parsley (optional, for garnish) Adds a pop of color and freshness; can substitute with Italian seasoning

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the soft dough on a floured surface for ease of handling.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles, placing a piece of cheese on each rectangle.
  4. Roll the dough around the cheese to form a roll-up, ensuring the cheese is well-covered.
Baking
  1. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic and salt.
  2. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each roll-up.
  3. Place the roll-ups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley if desired.
  6. Serve warm and watch them disappear!

Notes

Avoid overstuffing to prevent cheese from oozing out. Ensure dough is rolled to an even thickness to prevent drying out.
