Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and Italian seasoning.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and diced pepperoni.
- Use a spoon to scoop the mixture onto a greased baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Lightly drizzle or brush the tops of the puffs with olive oil.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown and fluffy inside.
Notes
For serving, pair with marinara sauce for dipping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
