Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into strips about 1-inch wide and 6 inches long.
- Place a few pepperoni slices in the center of each dough strip, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Fold each dough strip over the fillings to create pockets and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush each stick with the beaten egg and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
Cooking
- Place the sealed pizza sticks on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let the sticks cool slightly before serving with pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
For higher crunchiness, let the sticks sit for a minute after baking before cutting. You can also experiment with different fillings such as veggies or other types of cheese.
