Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for perfect baking.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed and creamy.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough on a flat surface, pinching the seams together to create a smooth rectangle.
- Evenly distribute the spinach and artichoke mixture over the dough, covering every inch.
- Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the log into even pinwheels, approximately 1-inch thick.
- Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and allow their aroma to fill your kitchen.
Serving
- Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly before serving them warm. Best enjoyed fresh from the oven!
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté the spinach before mixing it into the filling. You can add spices like cayenne pepper for heat or Italian seasoning for more flavor. Prepare the filling a day ahead for easier assembly.
