  • 1 package ready-to-bake pizza dough Ensure it's at room temperature before shaping.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Melts nicely over the sauce.
  • 1 cup crunchy Cheetos Used for both crust and topping.
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal For dusting the parchment and preventing sticking.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Optional, for brushing the crust.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional, enhances flavor of the crust.
  • 1 tablespoon hot honey Optional, for drizzling on top.
  • 1 cup ranch dressing For serving as a dipping sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Cheeto dust by pulsing half a cup of crunchy Cheetos in a food processor until finely ground. Set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 475°F and prepare your baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Dust parchment paper with cornmeal and place the pizza dough on top. Shape it into a thick disc and roll it into a circle.
  4. Transfer the dough onto the baking sheet or pizza stone using the parchment and remove the top layer of parchment paper.
Assembly
  1. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  2. Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and then sprinkle with the reserved Cheeto dust.
Baking
  1. Place the pizza in the oven and bake for about 5-10 minutes, checking every couple of minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  2. If using, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and mix in garlic powder.
  3. Once baked, top the pizza with whole crunchy Cheetos and brush the garlic butter over the crust. Sprinkle additional Cheeto dust on top if desired.
  4. Cut the pizza into eight slices and serve warm with ranch dressing or a drizzle of hot honey.

Notes

To enhance texture, ensure pizza dough is at room temperature before shaping. Experiment with different toppings such as pepperoni or fresh vegetables!
