Preparation
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Generously season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cooking
- Add the chicken to the pan and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside to rest.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and chicken broth. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but retains its color.
- Return the chicken to the pan, add lemon juice, and toss everything together to combine.
- Plate the Chicken and Broccoli warm, topping with Parmesan cheese if desired.
