  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Use avocado oil for a higher smoke point.
  • 1 pound Brussels Sprouts You can swap with green beans if needed.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Cloves Garlic powder can also be used in a pinch.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Replace with vinegar if unavailable.
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Ghee is an excellent dairy-free alternative.
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth Vegetable broth works for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Cayenne can add heat if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley Fresh chives or basil are good substitutes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Push the chicken to one side of the skillet. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil and toss in the Brussels sprouts. Cook for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway until they begin to brown.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, butter, chicken broth, and paprika. Let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes uncovered.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispiness, place the Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the skillet. Experiment with different spices like Italian seasoning or lemon zest for enhanced flavors.
