Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice chicken breasts into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic, cooking until softened. Remove and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add seasoned chicken. Cook until thoroughly cooked and golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Return the sautéed veggies to the skillet.
  3. Top chicken and veggies with cheese, covering until melted—about 2 minutes.
Serving
  1. Spoon the mixture into hoagie rolls, serve warm with optional toppings like hot sauce or additional veggies.
