  • 1 each onion, sliced (adds sweetness when sautéed)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced for aromatic goodness
Seasoning and Liquids
  • 1 packet fajita seasoning homemade is ideal if you want to control salt
  • 1 cup chicken broth low-sodium options are also available
  • 1 cup heavy cream substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 cup shredded cheese choose a blend for a flavor variety
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Prepare the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Adding Vegetables

Seasoning and Simmering
