- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with salt and pepper. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the seasoning.
- Heat the pita breads in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
- Spread tzatziki sauce or hummus generously on each pita.
- Layer with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and red onion.
- Top the veggies with the seasoned chicken slices.
- Carefully fold the pita wrap to enclose all the fillings and serve immediately.
Notes
For an even smoother process, consider prepping your ingredients ahead of time. Leftover wraps can be stored wrapped in foil or in an airtight container for best freshness. Can be made vegetarian by substituting chicken with grilled veggies or falafel.
