- Remove the saucepan from heat, add the chopped chocolate, and stir until the mixture is smooth and silky.
- Blend in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Assembly
- Carefully pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust, ensuring even distribution.
- Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Once set, slice the pie and serve with a dollop of whipped cream or fresh berries.
Notes
For easy slicing, run a hot knife through the pie before cutting. Chill overnight for enhanced flavor development.
