- In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into oval patties.
- Heat oil in skillet, sear patties until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced onions to skillet and cook until caramelized.
- Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in beef broth and soy sauce to make gravy.
- Return patties to skillet, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
For best flavor, use 80/20 ground beef and don’t overmix the patties. Always sear before simmering to lock in juices.
