Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine chopped cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper to prepare the marinade.
  2. Mix well to ensure consistent marinade.
  3. Place chicken breasts or thighs in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken and ensure it’s well-coated.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it directly on the grill.
  3. Grill for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juiciness.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, marinate chicken for several hours or overnight. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking and avoid dryness.
