  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Can be substituted with honey or agave syrup.
  • 1 cup Frozen Banana Optional; can substitute with frozen mango or avocado.
  • 1/2 cup Cashews Optional for extra creaminess.

Preparation
  1. In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese and maple syrup and blend until smooth.
  2. Add one cup of frozen banana or cashews for extra creaminess, blending until incorporated.
  3. Transfer the cottage cheese ice cream mixture into a lined pan and freeze for an hour or until frozen solid.
  4. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

Experiment with different sweeteners and flavors by adding a splash of vanilla or a pinch of salt. Store in the freezer for up to two weeks, but the texture is best within the first few days.
