Ingredients

Steak Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Ribeye Steaks Choose thick-cut for better juiciness.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Can substitute with ghee or margarine.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred, or use garlic powder.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped Can substitute with cilantro.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Chives, chopped Scallions can also work.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Soy sauce can be a gluten-free alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can be used as an alternative.
  • To taste Salt and Pepper Essential for flavor enhancement.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook the steaks to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on thickness.
  3. Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
  4. Top the resting steaks with generous amounts of the Cowboy Butter and let it melt over the hot meat before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Common mistakes to avoid: cooking at too high a temperature, skipping the resting period after cooking, and not seasoning enough. Use a meat thermometer for reliable results; aim for 130°F for medium-rare. Pre-make the Cowboy Butter and keep it in the fridge for up to a week.
