Ingredients
  

For the Stuffed Mushrooms
  • 12 pieces Mushrooms Larger caps preferred for stuffing
  • 1 cup Crab meat Use fresh or canned crab meat in water or brine
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened for easy mixing
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated for mixing
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor
  • 2 pieces Green onions Chopped for freshness
  • to taste Seasonings Salt, pepper, and optional spices

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems carefully.
  3. Chop the mushroom stems finely and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and green onions.
  5. Add the chopped mushroom stems and seasonings, blending until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the crab mixture.
  2. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  2. Serve warm as an appetizer or a side dish. Garnish if desired.

Notes

Use larger mushroom caps for a more substantial bite. You can cook the mushrooms ahead of time and reheat before serving. For added texture, consider broiling the mushrooms for the last few minutes for a crispy finish.
