  • 8 oz cream cheese Work with room temperature for a smooth mix.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Sweetens the base.
  • 1 cup Lifeway Plain Kefir Adds tanginess.
  • 1 cup milk
Apple Filling
  • 2 cups apple (diced) Fresh fruit for flavor and texture.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Used for cooking apples.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar To sweeten and caramelize.
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon Provides warmth and spice.
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce Optional, for extra indulgence.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blend the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Incorporate the Lifeway Plain Kefir and milk into the mixture, whisking until fully combined.
  3. Place the ice cream base in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to chill thoroughly.
Cooking
  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced apples and cook for 5-7 minutes until they soften.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and ground cinnamon, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until apples are caramelized.
Assembly and Freezing
  1. Fold the cooled apple filling into the chilled ice cream base.
  2. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  3. Remove from freezer, process in the Ninja Creami, then scoop into bowls.
  4. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor and texture, chill the base properly and avoid overcooking the apples. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
