  • 3/4 cup packed cilantro leaves Adds vibrant flavor and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt Offers protein and a tangy taste.
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic Enhances flavor with a savory kick.
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar Adds a hint of acidity to balance flavors.
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt Elevates the overall taste of the sauce.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil (optional) Adjusts the consistency to your preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients and ensure your avocado is ripe.
  2. Add the avocado, cilantro, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt to your food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. If the sauce is too thick, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of olive oil and blend just until you reach your preferred consistency.
  4. Taste the sauce; you may want to add more salt or vinegar based on your preference.
  5. Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and store it tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Notes

Make sure your avocado is ripe to achieve the smoothest sauce. If you're not fond of cilantro, try substituting with parsley for a different flavor profile.
