Preparation
- In a saucepan on low heat, combine milk, cream, vanilla extract, and sugar.
- Heat until warm throughout, ensuring the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Pour the cooled liquid into a blender.
- Add 2 whole bananas and blend the mixture until smooth.
Assembling Popsicles
- Place two slices of banana and two vanilla wafers each into popsicle mold.
- Pour the milk mixture into each mold, ensuring it covers the banana slices and wafers.
- Place one popsicle stick in each mold, pushing it about half-way down.
Freezing
- Freeze until firm, approximately 8 hours.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and creaminess. Allow enough time for freezing; overnight works best for ideal texture. For easy removal, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds.
