Method
- Toss sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat oil in skillet. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Add butter and garlic to skillet. Cook until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and cream. Whisk to combine.
- Add parmesan and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Cook pasta in salted water. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to sauce. Toss and adjust with pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream and reduce the parmesan. To make it dairy-free, try coconut milk and nutritional yeast.
