- Place all soup ingredients (except salt and pepper) in a large pot over high heat and bring to a boil.

- Blend until smooth with a handheld blender.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting for flavor.
- If the soup is too thick for your taste, add more milk, water, or stock with additional salt if needed. For a thicker consistency, simmer further.
- Serve, garnished with fresh thyme leaves and drizzled with cream or olive oil, if desired.
Notes
