Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream. Leftover sauce can be used as a pasta dressing or over steamed vegetables.
