Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped chives, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Place the mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a log.
  4. Wrap the log tightly and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  5. Once set, slice the butter into rounds for serving.
  6. Store any remaining butter in the freezer for up to 3 months.
