- In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped chives, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Place the mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a log.
- Wrap the log tightly and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
- Once set, slice the butter into rounds for serving.
- Store any remaining butter in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Notes
Keep a log of your custom butters for endless possibilities. A dash of hot sauce can add heat, and additional herbs like dill or thyme can create a unique touch.
