Preparation
- Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until well coated.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the tofu and fry until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the tofu in the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is sticky and coats the tofu.
Serving
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Avoid not pressing the tofu well to achieve desired crispiness. Cooking at too high a temperature may burn the sauce. Avoid overcrowding the pan to prevent soggy tofu.
