  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the crockpot. Pour butter evenly on the bottom of a 7-quart crockpot.
  2. Line the base with broken graham crackers.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, caramel syrup, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Add the pumpkin mixture to the crockpot and smooth the top.
  5. Cover with a paper towel and place the lid on the crockpot. Cook on high for 2 hours.
Cooking
  1. After 2 hours, remove the lid and paper towel. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until thickened.
Topping and Serving
  1. In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add crushed graham crackers and pumpkin pie spice. Cook for 4-5 minutes until warmed through.
  3. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumble over the pumpkin layer and serve warm with ice cream if desired.

Notes

For extra richness, consider adding a touch of vanilla extract to the pumpkin mixture. Serve warm for the best experience.
