Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Crumb Topping
  1. For the crumb topping, in another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
