Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 large large eggs Choose eggs that are not super fresh for easier peeling.
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Yellow mustard works as a milder alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar Red wine vinegar can also be used for a different flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Essential seasoning that brings all the flavors together.
  • Paprika for garnish Try cayenne for a spicy kick.

Method

Cooking the Eggs
  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Preparing the Filling
  1. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. In a bowl, remove the yolks and mash them with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  2. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.

Notes

Common mistakes to avoid include overcooking the eggs and not chilling them quickly enough. Use older eggs for easier peeling.
