  • 16 ounces Full Fat Sour Cream Adds a tangy flavor and smooth texture.
Flavorings
  • 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Dill Delivers freshness and vibrant flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Enhances the savory notes.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder Adds depth without overpowering the dish.
  • Pinch to taste Salt and Pepper Balances flavors.
Main Ingredient
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pickles (Claussen preferred) The star ingredient that adds crunch and brininess.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Using a hand mixer or a sturdy spatula, mix until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add in the chopped dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir together until evenly combined, taking another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped pickles into the mixture using a spatula, avoiding breaking the pickles too much.
  4. Chill the dip for 1-2 hours before serving to enhance flavors.
Serving
  1. Scoop the dip with crackers or veggie sticks. Optionally, drizzle olive oil on top and serve with a variety of dippers.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. Stir before serving again, as some separation might occur. Freezing is not advisable due to texture changes.
