  • 2 cups Milk Substitute with almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Can use brown sugar for a deeper flavor.
  • 4 large Eggs Aquafaba works as a great egg substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract Use pure extract for the best taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Nutmeg can be a lovely alternative.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Coconut oil works if you're dairy-free.
  • 1/2 cup Raisins (optional) Swap with chocolate chips for indulgence.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  3. Add the cubed brioche bread and raisins (if using) to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden on top.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with heavy cream or your favorite topping.

Notes

Serve warm from the oven, drizzled with caramel or a dollop of whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze it for up to 2 months.
