Preparation
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone inside for at least 10 minutes.
- Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir in olive oil, then add flour and salt until a dough ball forms.
- Knead on a floured surface until smooth (about 5-8 minutes).
- Optionally let rise for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and place on parchment paper, then add your sauce, cheese, and favorite toppings.
- Transfer to pizza stone and bake for 11-14 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftover dough wrapped tightly in plastic wrap in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze before first rise for longer storage.
